SOUTH Lakeland District Council is inviting motorists to park up and speak out about off-street parking.
The council is going out on the road to get the views as of as many of its off-street car park users as possible from June 26.
Roadshows will be held in council-run car parks where motorists are invited to complete a simple questionnaire; also available online.
It will ask people where and when they park, why and for how long and how they usually pay for parking.
Participants are also invited to give suggestions of how this can be improved.
Councillor Graham Vincent, SLDC's portfolio holder for the economy, said: "This will help us to focus on the wider customer experience and also enable us to look at some specific issues, such as how parking services can better support businesses and the local economy."
