Cumbria is to have its' very first ‘music lounge bar.’
The doors to Baha, based on Ash Street in Bowness-on-Windermere, will be open to the public this week.
Hospitality entrepreneur, Stephen Hargreaves, is behind the project, and it follows the opening of his champagne bar in the town, The Fizzy Tarté.
The establishment consists of three floors, and cost more than £3m.
Mr Hargreaves said: "I am really excited to launch Baha, which has been almost two years in the making.
"We were keen to offer a music bar with a sophisticated city vibe at sensible prices."
He added: "We’re creating jobs, and drawing people to the area, which can only be good for the county as a whole."
Live music will performed in the lounge on the ground floor, with the first floor restaurant opening in September, and top floor, available for private hire, at the end of the year.
In 2014, Stephen was nominated for North West Entrepreneur of the Year, and Best Use of Social Media award at the CN Group Business Awards.
