LAND Rover fanatics are set to descend on South Cumbria for a road trial competition.
Cumbria's Land Rover Club is hosting the event in Dalton on Sunday, with around 25 competitors set to take part. The trials are being held on private land between the old entrance to South Lakes Safari Zoo and the Black Dog pub in Broughton Road from 10am.
Chair of the club, Ray Fallows, from Askam, said he is expecting a large number of spectators to turn up on the day.
Mr Fallows said: "We don't normally hold the trials in locations big enough for spectators but Sunday's will be, and last time we had a lot of people turn up."
Spectators are welcome to attend from 10am. Entry is free.
