A BODY was found in the Lake District over the weekend, it was confirmed yesterday.
A passer-by found the body of a 56-year-old man, believed to be from the Worcester area, at the base of Horn Crag, Grasmere, around 11am on Sunday.
Langdale Ambleside Mountain Rescue Team attended to recover the body.
Five members of Kendal Mountain Rescue Team were also present.
The man has not been formally identified.
Cumbria Police said the death is not being treated as suspicious.
