BARROW library is giving internet users the chance to learn more about sites such as Facebook and TripAdvisor as part of a campaign to get more people online.
In additional to its weekly advice sessions which give people help using their phones, tablets or laptops, Barrow library is putting on two extra schemes as part of Get Online Week.
Between 2pm and 3pm tomorrow, web users will be able to find out what's going on in their local area by using TripAdvisor and Google Maps whereas on Wednesday between 2pm and 3:30pm advice will be given on how to use Facebook.
Workshops teaching people how to access emails will also be held today, tomorrow and Wednesday from 10am to 11:30am with the chance to win an iPad Mini just by attending.
All of the sessions are free and to book a place you should contact the library on 01229 407373.
