A COFFEE morning held in the hopes of raising funds for a popular charity has smashed its target by raising more than £600.
Barrow Inner Wheel hosted the event at Trinity Church Centre, in Abbey Road on Saturday November 19 to raise funds for Jo's Appeal.
Inner Wheel member Pam Dilks said: "It was a great success, in fact the best we've had and we raised £650 for the Jo's Appeal charity.
"It was a really good effort."
Guests were treated to Christmas refreshments, a selection of crafts, handbag stalls and a tombola.
The funds will be handed over to Jo's Appeal, a charity which was set up by Joanne Davies in the days before the 38-year-olds death.
