A HIGH street giant has seemingly reversed its decision to close a Barrow store.
Posters telling customers that WHSmith will remain open have been put at the Portland Walk shop.
The signs say: "We are happy to confirm that this store will be remaining open. Thanks for your continued support."
News broke last month that WHSmith was to leave its Barrow branch in what was a double blow to the the town centre as Argos in Dalton Road also announced it was closing in the new year.
