A MAN who suffered serious injuries during an alleged stabbing in Barrow has been discharged from hospital.
Police were called to a property in Middle Cliff yesterday morning after a 29-year-old man was allegedly stabbed. He was taken to Furness General Hospital with injuries that were described as serious but not life-threatening.
A 33-year-old man from the Manchester area was arrested shortly afterwards and some time later a 29-year-old Barrow man was also arrested, both on suspicion of unlawful wounding with intent.
Both men remain in custody at Barrow police station today and detectives have confirmed this morning that the victim was discharged from hospital yesterday afternoon.
