Charges: Carl Ripley, of Marsden Street, Barrow, is due to appear at Furness Magistrates' Court today
A MAN from Barrow is due to appear in court today accused of sexual offences alleged to have taken place over the last seven years.
Carl Ripley, of Marsden Street in Barrow, has been charged with six counts of rape and one count of sexual assault.
The six rape offences are alleged to have happened between May 2009 and May 2010 in Millom; between May 2010 and May 2011 in Barrow; between May 2011 and May 2012 in Barrow; between May 2012 and May 2013 in Barrow; between May 2013 and May 2014 in Barrow; and between May 2014 and May 2015 in Barrow.
The sexual assault is alleged to have taken place May 2014 and May 2015 in Barrow.
The 40-year-old is due to appear at Furness Magistrates' Court tomorrow.
