A 36-YEAR-OLD father admitted punching a man who pushed in the queue at a busy Barrow takeaway.
Paul Rowand, of Furness Park Road, Barrow appeared at Furness Magistrates' today, when he pleaded guilty to using threatening or abusive behaviour with intent to cause fear or provoke unlawful violence.
The assault took place in the Hot Potato takeaway in William Street on March 12.
Ms Maureen Fawcett, defending, said it was a "moment of madness" and that her client was "very remorseful."
Rowand was placed on curfew between the hours of 7pm and 6.30am for six months and ordered to pay £85 court costs and an £85 victim surcharge.
