A POPULAR folk band is set to make its debut in front of Furness crowds next week.
Blackbeard's Tea Party, which was voted best band at 2014's Cropredy Convention, and named the band to see at Glastonbury by the Huffington Post, will bring their brand of gusty folk rock to Broughton on Saturday September 2.
Their traditional songs and folk tunes are given a heavy rock edge with playful arrangements and driving dance rhythms, this is all mixed up in an engaging, high-octane stage show that leaves audiences cheering for more.
Doors will open at The Victory Hall, Broughton, at 6.45pm, with the performance starting at 7.45pm. Adults tickets are £12, and Children, £7.
