A SERIAL shoplifter has been jailed after going on another spree of thefts in Barrow.
Ciaran Crellin, of no fixed abode, appeared at Furness and District Magistrates Yesterday (19) and pleaded guilty to three charges of theft. The 20-year-old took a pair of Hugo Boss joggers worth £80 from a shop in Kendal on June 30, two Xbox controllers worth £104.98 from a shop in Barrow on September 14 and another Xbox remote from a shop in Barrow on September 18.
He was sentenced to three weeks in prison, with his offences treated as particularly serious to due his offending record. Crellin will also pay compensations for the cost of the items taken during the first two offences.
