A WOMAN with Asperger syndrome begged for prison after harassing a support worker for four months.
Kat Louise O'Neal, 38, of Byron Street, Barrow, repeatedly harassed Sasha Waldron, a project manager at Creative Support, between May 1 and August 31. She pleaded guilty at South Cumbria Magistrates' Court in Barrow on October 18.
She started the prolonged harassment, which included a number of threats sent on social media, after the group withdrew support following accusations made by the defendant.
After O'Neal begged to be kept in prison, she was jailed for 28 days and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £115. A restraining order was also put in place banning O'Neal from contacting Mrs Waldron or the Creative Support offices.
