A MAN has been remanded in custody after pleading guilty to trespassing in a Barrow hotel.

Dan Alexandru Dumbrava, of Bath Street, Barrow appeared at South Cumbria Magistrates' Court on November 8 where he pleaded guilty to trespassing in the Jefferson Hotel with intent to steal on October 28 and 29.

Dumbrava was found wandering in the staff only area of the Duke Street business.

The 30-year-old was remanded in custody for pre-sentencing reports to be prepared and is expected to appear back in the Barrow court on November 22 for sentencing.
