Lambrettas on display at Hawcoat Park
SCOOTER enthusiasts will this weekend descend on Hawcoat Park in Barrow for a fundraising event and ride-out.
Barrow Ready Steady Go, a local riders' club, has helped to organise the event to be held on Friday and Saturday at the park in Hawcoat Lane.
Hundreds of scooter owners are expected to take part with live music, awards, stalls, refreshments and scooter-themed activities over the two days.
Tickets cost £7 with proceeds going to St Mary's Hospice.
On Saturday a ride-out to the Lakes will set off at 11am. For more information visit the Barrow Ready Steady Go page on Facebook.
