A county-wide hunt for a group of mischievous creatures which "escaped" from one of Cumbria's best-known castles has come to an end.
Muncaster Castle has announced that all of its missing "boggles" have been successfully tracked down after businesses and organisations across Cumbria joined the search.
The attraction, near Ravenglass, launched the challenge after a group of the creatures escaped from the castle on October 10 and were hidden at locations across the county.

Members of the public were invited to hunt them down, with successful boggle hunters offered tickets to Muncaster's Halloween Family Festival and its new castle show, The Zombie-Boggle Apocalypse.
The search took people across Cumbria, with boggles found at Windermere Jetty Museum, Carlisle Tourist Information Centre, Ulverston Market Hall, Honister Slate Mine, The Village Stores in Ravenglass, Kendal Library, Just Sew Penrith, The Rum Story and Barrow Town Hall.
Another was located in Workington town centre.
Muncaster thanked the businesses and organisations which helped with what it described as a "county-wide effort".

Anyone who found one of the creatures has been asked to claim their prize by calling Muncaster on 01229 717614 before October 23.
With the escaped boggles accounted for, attention is now turning towards the castle's Halloween celebrations.
The Halloween Family Festival will run for nine days from October 24 to November 1, 2026, with this year's theme centred on zombies and boggles.
Visitors will be able to experience a scary maze, pumpkin patch, spooky trails, parades, live entertainment and the Haunted Castle, alongside bird of prey displays and a torchlight march.
The festival will also feature The Zombie-Boggle Apocalypse, a new family-friendly theatrical promenade performance featuring folklore, music and boggles.
The first 2,500 children's tickets include a free pumpkin, with pumpkin-carving workshops also planned.
Festival-only tickets are priced at £24.50 for adults and £16.95 for children aged three to 15, while children under three can enter free.
Tickets including the castle show cost £41.50 for adults and £29.95 for children.
