A new music festival in Cumbria that earned 'rave reviews' after its debut has already got its sights set on the future.
Beardfest took over the Millom Palladium earlier this year and will be doing the same on April 10, 2027.
The dream of the one-day festival was one that organiser Harry Miller had been cooking up for a while before he was finally able to make it come true.
He said: "I had toyed with the idea of putting on a music festival in Millom for years, having had many good memories of performing at the Dirty Dozen events at Millom Palladium in my youth.
"With the support of my partner Vikki, my mother Jackie, and my close friends Neil and Barrel King, I made it a reality in April this year.
"Through playing with my own band - Motörbeard, a Motörhead tribute - I have met a lot of supremely talented folk from all over the north of the UK, so it was a no brainer to finally go for it."
The debut went 'amazingly well' and is encouraging Harry to now keep building on that success.
He added: "Through donations and our raffles, we made £600 for our chosen charities, Refuge and Andy's Man Club, both of which have helped people in the local area immensely.
"The bands were all top notch and folk travelled from all other the country to see them - I was made up to see the venue so well attended all day.
"We received rave reviews on our Facebook page from both the acts and guests, and are looking forward to the next event on April 10, 2027 - there are already multiple amazing acts interested for 2028 too."
Early bird tickets are currently on sale via beardfestcumbria.bigcartel.com at £15 for the first 100, followed by presale tickets at £20, then £25 on the door on the day.
Acts confirmed for 2027 include Metallicish, Dad Sabbath, Nobody's Heroes, Spirit of the Hawk, Sharpshooter, Sanity, and Motörbeard.
