Owner Fiona Shore has applied to the Lake District National Park Authority to vary conditions attached to permission for the development at Near Howe, Troutbeck.
The application form says their location was changed 'due to tree protection recommendations', placing the development further away from existing trees following advice from a tree surveyor.
Work began on June 15 and was completed on July 24.
The two-pod scheme was approved in January after an earlier proposal for three pods in an open field at Near Howe was withdrawn.
Planning officers had considered that earlier scheme would harm the open character of the area and the amenity of a nearby public footpath through the introduction of pods, decking, hot tubs and associated activity.
The revised proposal instead placed two pods within a garden area beside the existing holiday cottages, where mature trees would provide natural screening.
The pods replaced five campervan pitches.
Officers approved that scheme after concluding the development would not unacceptably harm the character of the area.
The latest application, 7/2026/3098, is awaiting a decision.
