Two vehicles have been involved in a crash on the A590 this afternoon that is currently causing delays for commuters.
The incident was first reported to Cumbria Police at 1.18pm on Tuesday, July 21.
The two-vehicle road traffic collision (RTC) was confirmed to have involved a Toyota Yaris and Nissan Qashqai.
A spokesperson from Cumbria Police said emergency services are still in attendance.
Recovery vehicles are also expected to attend soon and the response was said to be ongoing.
The police outlined that it was 'not yet clear' as to the extent of any injuries for those involved in the collision.
