Dozens of cats and kittens have found loving homes thanks to a dedicated charity.
Animal Welfare Furness has successfully rehomed 28 cats and kittens in the last 20 days.
Each adoption represents a new lease of life for the animals and hopefully ensures they have the care and comfort they deserve.
The Barrow-based charity said: "Every adoption means a fresh start, a loving home, and a brighter future for one of our furry friends."
"Together, we’re changing lives, one paw at a time."
The charity's Facebook post was full of grateful comments from those who had adopted some of the cats.
One adopter wrote: "Lizzie (now Priscilla) has made herself right at home".
Another said: "Amy and Raj feel like they've always been here".
Animal Welfare Furness announced just last month it would shut its retail shop, based on Dalton Road, Barrow to ensure it's long-term future.
They said the move would allow the charity to focus resources on its core work rescuing, caring for and rehoming cats at its cattery on Rawlinson Street.
