Barrow Raiders fans are being asked to give back to the community as they arrive at the Speed Competitions Stadium this weekend.

The club will be taking on Hunslet RLFC on Sunday, May 24 and is using the occasion to support Barrow Foodbank.

There will be collection points on the day at each entry gate, in the hope that the fixture can make a 'huge difference'.

A club spokesperson said: "The foodbank has seen a drop in donations and an increase in people needing to use it.

"We have a huge following, if everyone could bring one item we could have well over 1000 items to donate.

"We can make a huge difference if we all work together and give back to our community."
