Mario is set to light up the big screen Barrow this Easter break.
The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, releasing on Friday, April 1, returns viewers to the Mushroom Kingdom in an action-packed, space-themed adventure.
The film follows Mario, Luigi, Toad, and Princess Peach as they travel through the galaxy to take on Bowser Jr. and rescue the galaxy.
Rhys Boyle, general manager at Vue Barrow, said: "A trip to Vue this Easter break is the perfect opportunity for families to immerse themselves in the magic of their favourite big screen characters.
"More than just entertainment, it’s a chance for children and parents to switch off, connect, and create lasting memories together."
Arriving on screens a few days earlier on March 27 is The Magic Faraway Tree, an adaptation of the classic children’s book.
The story follows Polly, Tim, and their three children as they move to the English countryside and discover a magical tree filled with extraordinary residents and fantastical worlds.
As part of Vue’s Mighty Mornings, families will be able to book special screenings of a family classic every day of the break from £2.49 when booked online.
The Spongebob Squarepants Movie: Search for Squarepants will kick off the line-up on March 27, followed by the award-nominated Little Amelie on April 3.
Zootropolis 2 will also join the schedule from April 10.
For younger viewers, Vue will feature Bluey At The Cinema: Playdates With Friends as part of its Big Shorts screenings, giving families the chance to enjoy some of Bluey’s most-popular episodes on the big screen.
The cinema is also taking part in the Roald Dahl Back on the Big Screen season.
Matilda will return to the cinema on March 27, marking 30 years since its original release.
Screenings of The BFG and Fantastic Mr Fox will follow on April 3 and April 10 respectively.
