Cinephiles and history enthusiasts have a chance to see behind the scenes of an art-deco cinema this weekend.
The iconic Roxy Cinema in Ulverston will open its doors to visitors as they take part in the National Heritage Open Day scheme this year.
On Saturday September 13 you'll be able to come along and take a peek behind the scenes.
There will be guided tours of the projection box with explanations of how the films are shown now and how they we're shown in the past.
Demonstrations using 35mm projector will take place and staff members will be on hand to answer questions.
The cinema will also be showing some vintage film clips, ads, trailers and newsreels.
The event is free and runs from 10am to 1:30pm.
