THREE Morrisons employees have appeared in court after they were charged with fraud and theft offences.
The trio have had their case sent for crown court by magistrates after the alleged offences in Barrow.
Elizabeth McCreedy, 57, of Tay Court in Barrow, is charged with three counts of fraud by abuse of position.
She is alleged to have abused her position as an employee on July 2, 13, 16 2022 by intending to cause a loss to the supermarket chain or exposing it to loss.
Kristie Sharpe, 30, of Union Street in Dalton and Megan Foster, 24, of Talisman Close, Barrow, have been charged with three counts of theft by employee.
They are both alleged to have stolen goods belonging to Morrisons on the same dates.
Appearing at South Cumbria Magistrates' Court, their case was sent to Preston Crown Court where they will next appear for a plea hearing on July 31.
