MEN were arrested on suspicion of theft after allegedly stealing goods from shops in Cumbria and Lancashire.
On Wednesday afternoon (July 3), officers from the Ribble Valley Police Specialist Operations unit stopped a Honda Civic car in Longridge.
Seized from the car were 11 bin bags which contained electronic goods, cosmetics, hardware, pens, clothing, and food items.
The force suspect all the property was stolen from shops in Cumbria and Lancashire, likely between Barrow and Garstang.

Both have been released on bail with conditions.
A police spokesperson said: "The property is of high value - several thousand pounds worth - and we are looking to reunited stores with their goods.
"If any stores between Barrow-in-Furness and Garstang – we think it will be large shops involved - suspect goods were stolen yesterday (3rd July), we ask them to contact us.
"Please contact 101, quoting log 0760 of 3rd July 2024."
