A school has thanked the local community for its support following on from the success of a recent fundraiser.
St Mary's Primary School in Ulverston hosted a Friday Family Fun event on June 21, in what was a return for the annual favourite.
The day saw a treasure hunt, field games, a raffle and a Wonka-inspired chocolate challenge, all of which were designed to raise as much funds as possible for the school.
A spokesperson from Family and Friends of St Mary's School commented: "A massive thank you to everyone who supported our Friday Family Fun event!
"We raised a massive £1960 from the event and had a great time supporting sports day - the Balloon Race raised £293 too.
"It was a great event for our school community."
A number of local businesses, including Browns Farm Shop in Lindal and HP Activities, also got involved by donating prizes.
