Due to electrical work being carried out in the building, The Roxy Cinema in Ulverston will be without power on Friday.
The popular retro cinema will be cut off from electricity between 8am and 4pm on June 21.
The announcement was made by The Roxy Collective, a not-for-profit organisation made up of a group of local volunteers who work to ensure The Roxy building is preserved, restored and revitalised for the community.
The Roxy Collective said: “This is due to important electrical work being carried out on the building. As such the businesses inside the building will be closed between these hours and we apologies for any inconvenience.”
However, the power cut will not affect the cinema screening of Disney and Pixar's ‘Inside Out 2’ on Friday evening, which is advertised to show at 7:30pm.
