Four restaurants in Cumbria have been highlighted among the best of the best in the UK.
A list of the Top 100 restaurants was announced by the prestigious National Restaurant Awards for 2024 on Monday night.
More than 200 British chefs, food writers and restauranteurs have compiled a list of the finest dining establishments in the land and, naturally, four spots in Cumbria were named.
We are proud to champion small-scale cheesemakers who use traditional and sustainable practices, resulting in flavours that compliment the complexity of our menu.#simonrogan #lenclume #sustainablegastronomy #cartmel pic.twitter.com/YSw3RLS7pF

Topping the Top 100 list this year for the first time in 12 years as the best restaurant in the UK is The Ledbury in London.
It was one of seven restaurants in London in the top 10 while the Top 100 list was dominated by the capital with 53 in total.
Outside London, Moor Hall in Lancashire secured the third spot, while last year’s winner, Ynyshir, in North Wales, dropped to fifth place.
