A popular market town in Cumbria will host its first ever Pride event next month.
The plans have been finalised for Ulverston Pride Festival 2024, which will see a day of fun and entertainment take over the town.
Centred around the Market Cross, the festivities on Saturday July 20 will include stalls, live music and performers.
The group behind the festival said they have been ‘busy’ planning, but all available stalls have now been filled.
Music and stage guests have all been arranged and a line-up will be announced soon.
Some ‘wonderful’ businesses and performers have been booked and will provide both support and entertainment.
‘Pride village’ will open at 10am.
Organisers urged everyone to ‘put the date in your diary’ and said: ‘It’s not one to be missed.'
