POLICE have thanked the community after the Dave Day celebrations in Barrow.
Barrow Police thanked those who attended Dave Day on their social media saying the celebrations and 'sense of community' was 'something that will live with all of us forever'.
A spokesperson said: "The amount of positive feedback from all over the country has been remarkable. Special thanks must go to Si King, Liliana Myers and of course Woody. Not forgetting the outrageous amount of bikers who joined the long journey North.
"What a tremendous achievement and show of support. Barrow, you did yourselves proud.
"Only one thing left to say.
"Have a Dave Day.
"From all of us at Barrow Neighbourhood Policing Team."
