A WOMAN was bitten by a dog 'similar looking to a Staffordshire bull terrier' in Barrow.
The bite happened at around 5.30 on May 12 in Ramsden Street, Barrow.
The dog has also been described as having a medium build and being brown coloured.
Cumbria Police is appealing for anyone to come forward with information of who the owner of this dog is and if anyone else has come across this dog.
