AN employee accused of stealing £19,000 worth of scratchcards and lottery tickets from her place of work is due to appear before a crown court.
Siobhan Ferguson is alleged to have stolen the items from her employer Nigel List in Ulverston over a period of 11 months.
The defendant, 39, is said to have carried out the thefts between January 1 and November 7 2020.
A hearing at South Cumbria Magistrates' Court was told the defendant, of Ulverston's Devonshire Road, denied the offence.
She is due to stand trial at Preston Crown Court and will appear there for a hearing on June 20.
