A business in Barrow is hoping to support Furness Pride by giving to a local charity.

Stollers will be using cake sales from its restaurant to raise money for Drop Zone Youth Projects.

The owners said: "We will be donating 50p from each cake sale across this Bank Holiday weekend, starting now [Thursday, May 23], and that’s where you come in!

"Our homemade cakes are widely known for being delicious and you can get yours to eat in or take away.

"We hope everyone has an amazing day on Saturday celebrating Pride."

Drop Zone Youth Projects is an organisation based in Barrow that provides safe and supportive opportunities for young people in our local area.

The fifth edition of Furness Pride will add a splash of colour to Barrow town centre on May 25 with the parade starting at the town hall at 11:00am.
