The Soccer Bar is hosting a ‘fantastic’ event with live music and a tribute act - to raise money for a couple of local charities.

The night will be a tribute to the popular English ska and pop band Madness, who formed in 1976 and released hits throughout the 80s.

Widely regarded as the UK's leading Suggs sound alike and look alike, Micky Two Tone's Madness & Ska Tribute show will take place at 7pm on June 21.

The tribute show will be made up of two halves, the first set will focus on replicating the sounds, moves and atmosphere of one of the most iconic British frontmen.

As well as the biggest hits, Micky will cover albums and tracks ‘favoured by all Madness and Suggs fans’.

The second set will be made up of high energy Ska and reggae classics from Bad Manners, The Specials, The Selecter, The Jam, Bob Marley and many more.

They will also be throwing Rock and Roll Bingo, with the proceeds going to local charities.

The event is only open to those over 18 years old. Tickets cost £5 and are available to buy from the Soccer Bar or by contacting 07769045453.
