A man caused damages worth £500 to a jewellery shop window in Grange-over-Sands.
Kevin Smith, aged 41, admitted the offence that took place on Saturday, May 11 at Johnston's of Grange, a family-run business that has been serving the community for over 80 years.
Smith appeared at South Cumbria Magistrates' Court on Monday May 13 following the incident.
He was ordered to pay £500 compensation to the business as well as an additional fine of £40.
