A woman has admitted to breaching an order just one day after it was made.
Samantha Singleton, of Schooner Street in Walney, was handed a domestic violence protection order on May 10 by South Cumbria Magistrates Court.
On May 11, however, the 37-year-old made direct contact with the man in question by speaking and being with him in person.
In accordance with section 63 of the Magistrates' Courts Act 1980, a penalty of £50 was directed towards Singleton due to it being the first breach of the order.
