Police are appealing for witnesses after a hit-and-run involving a cyclist in Barrow.
Officers are investigating after a vehicle failed to stop following the road traffic collision which involved a cyclist and an unknown vehicle on Sunday.
The incident happened at approximately 3:20pm at the junction of Risedale Road and Bridgegate Avenue.
A spokesperson for Cumbria police said: "A male rider of the bicycle was hit from behind whilst turning onto Bridgegate Avenue and suffered injuries which required hospital treatment.
"The vehicle failed to stop at the scene.
