A hotel in the heart of the Lake District has been named in the top 10% of establishments on TripAdvisor.
The owners of the Lancrigg in Grasmere shared the news on Tuesday that the business had been given the TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice Award.
The country house hotel and restaurant enjoys some of the best views that Cumbria has to offer thanks to its spot below Helm Crag.
The award goes to accommodations, attractions and restaurants that consistently earn great reviews from visitors and are ranked within the top 10% of properties on the website.
The owners said: "[We are] absolutely thrilled to be awarded the TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice Award.
"It’s all thanks to you lovely lot for taking the time to write a review - thank you so much."
