A cocktail bar in Ulverston is set to open a brand new games room this week. 

Ignition Cocktail bar on New Market street is set to open Level Up Games & Bytes on its second floor alongside a new diner and bar.

The team made the announcement on Facebook yesterday (May 4) and said: "The booking system will be up and running in the next couple of days complete with our food menu & lots more information on this high tech retro games room!!!

"Thursday can`t come quick enough for us to finally throw the doors open for you to visit `Level Up Games & Bytes."

According to Ignition's website, the games room experience is based on retro gaming with today’s technology - including four full size arcade machines with a massive 3k selectable Games.

There will also be a full size pool table, basketball challenge, punch bag machine and 16ft shuffle board. 

The diner will boast a `Back 2 Basics` Menu reported to have top quality food at a reasonable price.

There is also a new bar in the new room for refreshment.
