The wife of Dave Myers has shared how you can support the upcoming Dave Day in Barrow.

Liliana Myers took to social media on Friday, April 26 to give a selection of options for people looking to celebrate the life of her husband.

On June 8, thousands of people will be coming to Barrow, with events taking place in the town centre and Barrow Raider's home ground.

Liliana commented: "I get so many messages from people asking how they can help with Dave’s Day."

Her ideas included keeping the boys' book, Fast and Fresh, 'up in the charts'.

You can also donate to the two chosen charities for Dave Day - NSPCC Childline and The Institute for Cancer Research - with the £10,000 target now in sight.

Liliana encouraged peopled to volunteer on the day, with opportunities stemming from traffic and motorcycle management to general event stewarding.

Merchandise is now available to buy - for every item sold, £3 will be donated and split evenly between the two aforementioned charities.

The last thing Liliana mentioned was for people to get their tickets for the tribute concert being held in Dave's honour at the Northern Competitions Stadium.

Barrow Raiders confirmed earlier this week that over 3,000 tickets had been sold after being released on Tuesday, with less than 2,000 now available and selling fast.
