CUMBRIA Police are appealing for witnesses following an investigation into an alleged assault which occurred at the side of the A595 at Dutton Bridge.
The incident occurred on April 12 (Friday) at approximately 7:30 pm and involved a man allegedly assaulting a woman.
Police confirmed the woman suffered no injury.
As a result, officers arrested a 28-year-old man, from the Lincolnshire area, on suspicion of common assault.
He has been bailed pending further inquiries.
