DRIVERS are being warned ahead of a four-day road closure near Coniston.
A section of the B5285 near Coniston will be closed to enable carriageway resurfacing works.
This is anticipated to start on April 15 and take up to four days to complete. The road will be closed between 7pm and 5am daily.
An alternative route can be found via the unrestricted sections of B5285, B5286 and A593.
Due to the nature of the works, it is not possible to maintain access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists through the site.
Access for emergency vehicles will be maintained where required for the duration of these works.
