A SAXOPHONIST and broadcaster from Ulverston has had her BBC Radio 3 show extended to one hour.
Jess Gillam announced that her Radio 3 show 'This Classical Life' has also been moved to a new time slot of 5pm on a Saturday.
During the show, she interviews musicians about the music they are listening to and their inspirations.
She said on Friday: "My first guest is Milos - my big brother in music! Tune in tomorrow at 5pm or catch it on BBC Sounds for 30 days after."
Jess thanked her production team 'who bring this show to life' and the BBC for the opportunity.
She rose to fame by being the first saxophonist to reach the BBC Young Musician Finals, and the youngest ever soloist to perform at the Last Night of the Proms.
She signed to major label Intermusica in February.
