THE community is being invited to clean up the town's streets on Thursday.
The session has been organised by the Barrow Business Improvement District, the network connecting numerous businesses throughout the area.
The litter pick will start at 2pm on April 4 and residents are welcome to join in, with refreshments being provided for all participants by McDonald's.
The work will start at the 'Spirit of Barrow' statue with volunteers making their way through the town centre.
A spokesperson for Barrow BID said: "Let's work together to keep our town clean and beautiful.
"Whether you have attended a litter pick before or not, this is the perfect opportunity to meet new friendly faces whilst doing your bit for the town."
