A pet business in Barrow has been forced to increase its prices due to the 'Cost of Living' crisis.
The Park Road Kennels and Cattery announced the move on Sunday, with the changes coming into effect on April 1.
Stays at the business will now cost £15 a day per dog and £9 a day per cat, a slight rise of £1 and 50p respectively.
The owners said: "There will be an increase in our charges due to the ongoing price rises in feeds, litter, heating, lighting and wages.
"We are sure you will understand the need for the increases and be assured we have tried to keep these to a minimum."
