A WOMAN has been disqualified from driving for over four years after she drove while already banned.
Kelly Dargue, of Mount Pleasant in Barrow, was sentenced at South Cumbria Magistrates’ Court on March 25 after pleading guilty to driving whilst disqualified and driving with no third-party insurance at an earlier hearing.
The 54-year-old was stopped by road traffic officers while she was driving a Kia Stonic on September 8 last year on Carleton Road in Carlisle.
She received a 12-month community order with requirements to complete 15 Rehabilitation Activity Requirement days and 150 hours of unpaid work.
Magistrates also disqualified her from driving for 53 months and ordered that she pay costs of £85 and a £114 surcharge in full within 14 days.
