A BARROW woman has been sentenced for causing another person harassment, alarm or distress.
Sarah Bamber, of Maple Street, pleaded guilty to using threatening / abusive / insulting words / behaviour to cause harassment / alarm / distress.
The 45-year-old admitted at the first opportunity that she had committed the offence on October 24 last year.
At South Cumbria Magistrates’ Court on March 20, Bamber was sentenced to a 12-month community order with one requirement to complete ten RAR days.
She was also fined £50 for the offence and ordered to pay a £114 surcharge, as well as court costs of £85.
