Barrow Tesco Extra Community Champions are fundraising for Brain Tumour Research.
Wear A Hat Day is Brain Tumour Research’s annual event raising money to bring hope to brain tumour patients and their families.
The charity is running their annual event on Thursday March 28.
Every March, people from all walks of life put on their favourite hat and wear it to work, in school, with friends and family, hold hat-themed events and make donations.
These donations will go towards helping to find a cure for brain tumours, which kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer.
Tesco Extra on Hindpool Road is welcoming Brisbane park infants, who have made some hats for their window display, to the store.
Tracy Wells has also ‘very kindly’ donated some hats for members of staff to wear on the day.
The Barrow superstore will be hosting a tombola and will have some pin badges for sale, customers can also come into store to take a selfie and Tag Barrow Community on Facebook.
