A proposed 'no cold calling' zone could come into effect in a village.
Officers from the Ulverston and Lakes Community team will be canvassing residents in Baycliff on Sunday, March 17 to assess their opinions on the topic.
The planned zone would limit the number of people who can come to their doors, though the scheme would not be implemented without local support.
The canvassing will allow officers to get a sense of the level of agreement in the village, as well as informing residents as to how the exclusion zone would work.
Voting slips will be provided for those residents whose homes fall within the proposed zone area.
