A MAN admitted to being in charge of a vehicle while nearly three times the legal limit of alcohol in Barrow.
Adam Elliot, 29, of Meadowlands Avenue, Barrow, was found in charge of a vehicle with 101 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes of alcohol.
He gave his guilty plea at South Cumbria Magistrates Court on March 14. He will have to pay £535 in costs and a fine of £882. He also received ten points on his licence. His guilty plea was taken into account.
